Within darkness, captives are held.
Upon shining the light, victory yelled!

Charging into the darkness, pressing into the night.
Advancing forward for what’s right, charging toward the fight.

Armed with nothing but His light.
Filled with His Holy might.

For you, my King, I will press on into the fight.
Filled with your strength, I shall never take flight.

Press on into the night, to bring the light.
For you, my King, I shall prove what is right.

If I am wounded, If I stumble or fall.
Upon your Holy Name, only shall I call.

When in distress to no other shall I cry out.
Jesus! Your Mighty Name, shall I shout!

Reinforce me my King, with your armor I pray.
Strengthen me, my King, within your power may I stay.

In the midst of the battle, shall I stand!
Following only my King’s command.
